Freaking Fertile Flynn's at the Quill [OPEN]
Sat at an empty table, 8tracks open and headphones plugged in, she sat tapping away on her state of the art laptop as she mindlessly tested the strengths of the Cabot and Harpy estates. Something she'd been poking at for a while since Corrine had first asked her to check up on Will, she hadn't exactly told her to keep poking around but she was curious and their firewalls were practically inviting her to look around. And it kept her mind off things: things with Kim, things with Ed, her mom, Gabby living with her dad and Corrine's mom. Besides it wasn't like she was really doing anything wrong.
"Scrambled eggs, salmon and-" A voice began making Abby's nostrils flare. That stench. Swallowing down the nausea, she ripped her headphones off and ran towards the bathroom before she began to puke her guts out. She'd been like this for a few days, it wasn't nothing serious just puking mostly in the morn... ings.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck." Abby muttered, pulling her phone out of her pocket and trying to figure out when the hell her last period was. Because this was stupid and she wasn't that stupid. And she was late. Like not even a little bit late, like a lot late. She'd just- assumed with her mom, the stress of losing her and the grief. Except now she was puking and Flynn's were fertile fuckers. And Ed was... fucking her like a lot. "Fuck. Fuck!"
Tapping in her phone, she sent out an S.O.S text out. She could not be this stupid, she could not be.
"I'm going to kill him. FUCK!" Abby yelled from the bathroom, kicking the bathroom stall door.
ooc: either get a text from abby or here her swearing/puking in the bathroom at the Quill.

there was a loud woman puking and cursing and keeping Lena from leaving the bathroom. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end, because even though none of this could be directed at her, she still was the type to feel guilty.
"Excuse me?"
no subject
"Can you- can you go get my-" Abigail looked rough before she puked some more. "-bag please."
no subject
Abbie. Wasn't it Abbie, from her Cinderella time?
"Your .." She looked around. "Where's your bag? What does it look like?"

"Abbie, are you ok-" Lena should continue to keep her mouth shut. "Here you go. I guess you didn't need the laptop."

It only took him a moment to spot her once he was inside and he slide into the chair across from her, grinning.
"So, I get the inside treatment this time? How fancy."
no subject
"Ahuh, inside treatment. We need to talk, privately. That's not code for sex," Abigail muttered, taking deep breaths in and out. She looked like at any minute she was going to bail, tapping the app on her phone she brought up the missed period date and pushed it in Ed's hands. Before she darted towards the toilets again.
"Poor girl, she's been puking all morning. Honestly she should just go home but she threatened to cut me." One of the barista's told Ed as they cleared a couple of mugs.

Ed couldn't even respond to the waitress, all he could do was just stare at the phone. Abby was late. Abby was late AND sick. Shit. Shit, shit, shit. This was bad. It was really bad.
They were always careful. Always. Ed had been warned again and again about this sort of thing by his parents. No matter how heat of the moment they had been he always used a condom. But apparently that didn't matter because she was late and sick and he didn't know what to do. No way he could tell his parents at this point. He wished that he could talk to Henry. There was always Will but Will had been acting so strange lately and was still dealing with the divorce.
"Fuuuuuck."

Legs sprawling out behind her on the floor of the bathroom, Abby leaned over the toilet bowl as she finished puking for what like felt like the millionth time. Gulping, she leaned back against the stall and hit her head against the stall wall. She was so stupid. So stupid. And now, now she was going to ruin everything. She couldn't even text Kim to come over and comfort her because she was probably going to ruin that as well.
"Cabots are life ruiners," Abby muttered, drawing her legs up before pressing her face against her knees. "This is so stupid, so freaking stupid."

She texts back [I'll be right there]. Ten minutes later she's in line at the counter and scoping out the cafe for any sign of Abby.

Sending out a message to Corry, she waited for a message in reply before she took a breath and read it. Wiping her face, she washed her mouth out before walking out of the bathroom. Spotting her sister's hair in line, she raised her hand before turning pale and green. Turning right back round, she ran back into the bathroom where she continued to puke.
She was so fucked.

She ducks her head through the main door.
"Abby, honey, what's wrong?" The sound of sick in response seems rather telling.

"I fucked up, I really fucked up." Abigail muttered, worried as she tried not to freak out about it. "I- I think I'm pregnant. Fuck!"

Then the bathroom stall door gets kicked with a loud swear and she freezes, tipping her head at the really shitty combination going on there. "Heyyy," she says, leaning on the sink. "Um. You okay?"

That admission sort of seals the deal on her suspicion but she also doesn't want to be super presumptive, either. "I'm thinking you don't mean by got-way-super-drunk last night," she says with a small face, and thinks privately that there are two people involved in fuckups of that variety.
no subject
"Nope, that would be kinda awesome. I've been seeing... someone." Abigail muttered, not wanting to tell who it was. People knew she was with Kim, she'd been seen enough with him and maybe it would be easier if people assumed it was Kim's. Not Ed's, not the guy she was secretly seeing on the side. "And I missed my period. I've really fucked up."

By the time he arrived at the Quill he was almost upset. If she was at the Quill then things couldn't be that bad. Once he saw her though he felt a sense of worry slither through him. Abigail looked terrible, like she shouldn't be out in public she was so sick.
"Abigail, honey," he said, sitting down across from her with a worried look on his face. "You don't look very well. What's wrong?"
no subject
"I-" Abigail began, reaching for her phone before tapping away and sending him a text. People here had big mouths, she didn't want this getting out if it was true. She didn't want Kim to know from anyone else if it was, and if it wasn't then he never needed to know.
[Txt: I messed up.]
[Txt: I'm late. And I feel sick.]
[Txt: I think I'm pregnant.]
She sighed, pressing her head against her arm and making a face. She was so stupid.

That was... Entirely unexpected. Whatever she could have told him right then Robert didn't expect this sort of thing from her. He would have thought Abigail was smarter than that. To her credit though he knew all too well how you could take precautions and still end up with a child.
[text: I'm going to kill your rock star boyfriend] [text: But let's get you home and pick up a test on the way]
Robert was caught between offering comfort and doing damage control. Abigail needed to know everything would be taken care of but also someone had to start taking care of things.
"Whatever happens, I'm going to take care of you, okay? I promise."
no subject
Abby lifted her head up a little, making a face as she read the text before shaking her head. Because it wasn't Kim, she'd still be freaking out if he had but then at least it might not be so bad. Because potentially being pregnant and it not being her boyfriends, and potentially having to explain that to him was the worst.
She picked up her phone, not wanting to text her dad about how she had been behaving- doing the same stuff he did but she didn't want him to confront Kim either.
[Txt: It isn't- it wouldn't be Kim's. He's... he hasn't. We're supposed to be waiting.] And Abby hadn't. At all. [Txt: Corry's husband? He has a younger brother and we've been... seeing each other.]
Abigail nodded, wanting to burst into tears and get him to make it go away. She couldn't even call her mom and talk to her.
"I messed up so much."

Waiting at the table, when he finally saw her come out of the bathroom his face immediately fell. She looked really unwell and really miserable.
"Abigail, what's wrong? You look... not as chipper as normal?"
no subject
Abigail froze as she spotted Kim at her table, smiling a stupid and ridiculously adorable goofy smile at her. A smile which faltered when he looked at her. Like he knew. Which was ridiculous because she wouldn't tell him and she doubted Ed would. Not even if she was- if she was pregnant.
"Hey, oh just a stomach bug. I was thinking about heading home," Abigail replied, her voice sounding as tired and washed out as she looked. She couldn't tell him, he was her unicorn. "I'd kiss you but that'd be gross right now."
She reached out to take his hand at least. She couldn't tell him. And what was one more secret.
no subject
"Yeah, as much as I love missing you, I do not want whatever but you've got," he said. She looked really sick though and he was worried. She'd been going through a lot lately and the stress of everything probably wouldn't help her get better anytime soon.
"Let me take you home and take care of you?" He asked, although he was already planning on doing that despite her answer. She could be really stubborn at times but right now was not the time for that sort of thing.
no subject
"Missing or kissing me?" Abigail asked, trying not to look too guilty- too pained because he was being ridiculously sweet with her. Reaching to take his hand, she smiled tiredly and leaned against him. She kind of what to just go home and take a pregnancy test but Kim wanted to come with her. "Uh, sure. That sounds good. You want to drive my car?"
