Abigail packed her laptop away, letting him take the rest of her stuff for
her. Pressing her forehead against his arm, she made a face and tried not
to look quite so pathetic. Stubborn as ever, she looked up at her dad and
sighed as they got in the car. At least it was private in here.
"It'd be really hard to explain why he was injured and he- it isn't his
fault. We were careful, we were always... careful. Don't hurt him, please
dad." Abby shook her head. She wasn't ever exactly expecting to be in this
position. Not now at least. "No, not like I can run away and pretend it
might not be happening either. Sorry, I didn't mean..."
