knew she didn't want a kid but what if Ed did? She was so fucked, she
hadn't wanted this. It was just supposed to be fun, a distraction,
something to make her not think about anything. "-I don't know. I mean,

Abigail pressed her lips together, glancing at Corry in a slightly guilty
way. She thought they'd been safe, always, but she couldn't say that for
definite. There might have been times when they were too much in a rush or
when she just hadn't cared in that one moment.
"I- I should've been more careful. We should've," Abigail muttered, the
touch to her hair making her turn her head and look at Corry curious. It
was almost the same way her mom kept brushing Gabby's hair. "Yeah, I think
so. I think I'm ready. I feel like I'm going off to be shot or something."
