Gabby was crying again. Pressing her hands against her ears, she tried to shut out the noise as she continued to listen to her sister talk to their father. She just wanted her to stop, she just wanted her to be quiet for once.
Taking out her phone, she hesitated between two contacts before lying down on the porch swing. Pulling the blanket over her head, she shivered in the cold breeze.
